Your TV. Your home screen.

Skinly Home is an Android TV app that displays your theme, shows a live clock and launches the apps installed on your TV. It is built, packaged and signed. It has not yet been verified on a physical TV. Start with the included free Paper Sky theme before purchasing.

1. Check your device

You need Android TV or Google TV, running Android 7.0 or newer with a working Android System WebView. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and Hisense VIDAA cannot install this APK. A compatible external Android TV device can run it.

2. Install Skinly Home

1. Download the APK above. Transfer it to your TV using your preferred USB or file-transfer method.
2. Open the APK with your TV’s file installer. If Android asks, allow that installer to install this app. You can turn that permission off afterward.
3. Open Skinly Home from the TV’s Apps screen. Paper Sky is included and works offline.
4. Use the remote’s arrow keys to move between app tiles and the controls below. Press OK to open an app.

3. Add a theme

Using your delivery code: after payment and compatibility are confirmed, select Delivery code in Skinly Home and enter the 32-character code saved with your order. The app securely downloads your purchased packs, installs them and applies the last theme. Open Themes to switch.

Using a downloaded file: on the website, open Your downloads, enter your delivery code and download a .skinly file. Transfer that file to your TV, open Import in Skinly Home and select it. If your TV has no file picker, use the delivery-code method.

What a theme changes

• Full-screen wallpaper and color palette.
• Live clock style: clean, editorial or digital.
• Matching app tiles: soft, rounded, square or neon.
• Optional slow wallpaper drift or starlight overlay, as listed on the product page.

It does not change Android settings screens, the menus inside Netflix or other apps, or automatically replace your TV’s default Home button. The ambient effects are rendered by the app; they are not live video backgrounds. Your installed app labels appear in the tiles; the shop preview uses sample app names.

Keep your original home screen

Skinly opens as a regular app. Some devices offer a default Home app selector; this depends on the manufacturer. We do not disable system packages or require accessibility access. To go back, use your TV’s original Home screen or uninstall Skinly from Android settings. If you previously selected Skinly as a default Home app, select the original launcher in your device’s default-app settings first.

Help and recovery

If the app does not display correctly, check that Android System WebView is available and current. If a download fails, check your connection and order status, then retry. Keep your delivery code private; anyone with it can access that order’s downloads after confirmation. Re-enter the code after reinstalling to restore your paid themes.
